LEJOG D9

Better weather today,  some slight drizzle but dry for most of the day.  This was a day of one killer (19%) hill at the start of the day with a stretch of relatively flat and a few more hills at the end.  Got back to taking a few more photos too.
Alex, Lauren and I lunched together in Nantwich,  a very picturesque town with a beautiful church. We went to have a look at the church h as we were curious about the constant bell ringing that had gone on for the whole time we were in town.  A wedding? No, there was nothing happening at the Church at all. My theory is that it is actually a recording which got stuck. It was fun, they were joyous bells but I can see that you would probably be tired of the noise if you lived there.
Next stop en route was the Aqueduct Marina, or venetian marina, full of canal boats.  Had enough coffee so pressed on after a short while, keen to finish today.  Great treat this evening .. use of the hotel washing machine and drier. So much better than the sink. Also delicious roast pork dinner.
